New BSM Nordic Ski Coach

BSM Athletic Director Jerry Pettinger has made pubic the appointment of Marc Beitz as the new BSM Varsity Nordic Ski coach. Marc graduated from SPA, skied and graduated from Williams College, is very active in the ski community and currently is active with the City of Lakes Nordic Ski foundation. Marc organizes a number of training opportunities for nordic skiers. Marc is married to Amy Cichanowski who has coached for 12 years with great success, and is also the director of the Minnesota Youth Ski League (MYSL).

I am very pleased that Marc has accepted the BSM position. I have offered him my full support and will be available whenever he has questions. I feel confident that the BSM Nordic Ski program is in good hands and that new and exciting events will be happening.
