It was a chilly night with temperature dipped to zero with the infamous Elm Creek Park windchill down to -14F. Despite of the cold windchill temperature and grinding snow condition, John K. and Brett L. put up their top racing effort and posted one of the fastest times in this season's TT series. John, the two-time POLE PEDAL PANT (ski, bike, run) winter triathlon champion (in 2009 and 2010), promised to defend his title at this year's ski season ending winter triathlon race in March at Elm Creek Park. Brett, you made your ski team proud (best luck to your team at the upcoming races). Pat, welcome back to the ECTT series. Jacob, congratulations on your first ECTT race. Tim, you have not missed one race yet this season -- great effort tonight. Jim, you made skate skiers work!!! Best luck to all of you for this weekend's Pepsi Challenge, Birkie Tour, Mayor's Challenge, and other races around. Enjoy the beautiful snowy winter -- in less than 2 months, we'll be gearing into the other adventures, biking and running, etc.
Jacob Kjome is tonight's winner for the drawing ($25 gift certificate) -- please come and claim it next week.
