Elm Creek Series Results

Conditions: Temperature: 38F, calm with a light rain freeze, conditions became quite fast. The tracks made it hard to get kick, it was a double pole race for the classic. The race course is 2 laps of 2.5k full Valley Trail loop.

Race distance: 5K, both classic and freestyle, mass start.

It was a very close skate race with Team Birkie ( Lazelo Alberti ) leading until Trevor Drake came from behind for the” Kill”! to finish first!

Trevor also took home the gold in the classic race. Very strong finishers were turn in by Beth Maus, Steve Cirks (King), Dale Heaton, Tim LaCroix and Darren Halzle. The last race series is this coming Wed. Feb. 22, tune up for Birkie, See you at Elm Creek!
