Notes: It was a very pleasant evening on the trail with comfortable temperatures and nice trail conditions. Trail was groomed to very good condition, but skiers decided the new snow was not super fast, more like medium gliding. It was a quiet night in the Spafford Chalet as the youth jumpers in the Cloquet Ski Club were in Coleraine for a jumping meet. They should be back next week to entertain the spectators with big air off the ski hill jumps.
Next Event: The last event of the four-week series is Tuesday, February 5. Skiing starts at about 6:30 p.m. or so, arrive a few minutes early to register. All abilities welcome, absolutely free to everyone. No trail fee required.
