Sportsmanship on the Ski Trail

Hi Bruce,

Last week at the NWSC conference meet at Theodore Wirth, I witnessed first hand the best example of sportsmanship I have ever seen. One of Osseo's Nordic skiers, John Nguyen, took a bad fall on an icy hill, and when he stood up, found that one of his skis was broken in half. Robbinsdale Armstrong skier, Jake Delaney, who had already finished the race, called John over and gave his skis to John so that he could finish the race.

Kudos to Jake for sharing his skis, and kudos to John for picking himself up and finishing the race!
