Midwest Junior Championship and Festival

Join us at the Midwest Junior Championship & Festival this March 6-8 at Theodore Wirth Park! For those ages 15 and under, the Loppet Foundation and Minnesota Youth Ski League host a weekend filled with competition and excitement for all abilities, including Friday night Classic Tandem Sprints. Saturday hosts a Classic Individual Start race and Age Gap Relays. Sunday brings a Freestyle Mass Start race, SkiCross Time Trials and Four-Person Mixed Relays.

A Saturday Festival is new this year, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., including Paintball Biathlon, Scooter Soccer, Tug of War, Skijoring Demos, SkiCross course, and the Fish Scale Frenzy. The SkiWerx Series and CXC Youth Cup will end their season races with the Midwest Junior Championships. It is truly the pinnacle of youth racing in the Midwest. Hope to see you out there!
