Mesabi East Lost and Found

Coaches:

We’d like to thank the 60+ teams who participated in our 2016 ME Invite on January 9th. It was a great bunch of Nordic skiers to work with. I worked the finish line – the Nordic skiers were very polite and fun to work with. I even had a few of them say they had a blast and enjoyed their day!

Here is a list of a few things we found since the race:

• A purple ski bag with checkerboard logo on it – no name – nothing in it
• One set of ski poles – Start Sport ski poles – mostly blue in color approx. 152 cm – no name
• One Camelbak water container – blue in color – no name
• I know there were pieces of clothing left in the Chalet @ Giants Ridge too – like long underwear, etc.

ALSO – IN SEARCH OF:

• A different purple ski bag with black duct taped ends with 4 ski poles – belongs to Becky @ Tartan School
• People who were skiing here (not in the race) probably left their ski bag up against a wall and it got taken in with the team bags – could you please see if you have a black Swix ski bag with yellow markings. Inside is a set of classic and skate skis. The name Lauren Loppnow is on the bag.

Please tell your skiers that it pays to put your name on ski bags, jackets, etc. so that they can be located and claimed.

If you have any info – please let me know. These items will probably be taken to the Main Chalet at Giants Ridge this week.
