Minnesota State High School Nordic Ski Coaches Association Award Winners

The Minnesota State High School Nordic Ski Coaches Association would like to announce the Coach of the Year, Assistant Coaches of the Year and Section Volunteers of the Year for the 2022-2023 season. These individuals have chosen by their peers as the best of the best in high school Nordic ski coaching.

Coach of the Year

• Bonnie Fuller Kask, Duluth East

Assistant Coach of the Year

• Ellen McCarthy, ISD 196 and Ben Croft, Cloquet/Esko/Carlton

Section Volunteers of the Year

• Section 1, Marv Post, Lakeville
• Section 2, Pete Moran, Minneapolis Southwest
• Section 3, Jim Reckinger, Park, Woodbury, East Ridge High Schools
• Section 4, Doug McCormack, White Bear Lake
• Section 5, Denny Green, Coon Rapids
• Section 6, Kari Meyer
• Section 7, Jim Juntti, Cloquet Esko Carlton
• Section 8, Joe Dunaisky, Little Falls

Bonnie Kask, Ellen McCarthy and Ben Croft will be honored for their accomplishments at the MSHSNSCA meeting in Mora on Saturday, April 22. The section volunteers were recognized by their sections earlier this season.
