Red Cross Nordic Ski Challenge Results
Under sunny skies and a little wind, Andre Watt sprinted to the Men's Elite Championship and $200 payday with Adam Swank and Nikolai Anikin closely following in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Ellen Anderson cruised to the Women's Championship followed by Meghan Anderson and Katie Cheesbro. Men and women had equal payout, paying 10 deep.
The four person team of Megan Matson, Neysa Granholm, Paul Quiram, Raleigh Goessling from the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton High School ski team took home the win in the High School event.
The top fundraiser walked away with round trip airline tickets to Las Vegas! Other fundraising prizes included a pair of Fischer Nordic Cruising Skis, 2 sets of Exel Poles, Swix Wax Kits, Ski Bags, subscription to Silent Sports and many more prizes.
