Conditions: Gorgeous, classic only ski trails, definitely good skis.
A real gem for all classic skiers, tons of snow in area, super scenic rolling hills, trail starts right at canoe outfitters about a mile west of town on Hwy 2. It was so quiet, sweet ski trail both single and double track classic, awesome!

Conditions: Deep classical tracks, Snow white conditions.
Another great ski over the whole Sylvania Outfitters system. Bob groomed 2-3" of loose powder into a beautiful track. Always my favorite place.

Conditions: Fresh grooming and tracks on first two loops.
Bob was out grooming in the afternoon and the snow was turning up white as sugar. Beautiful 17 degree day and did all loops. Fast return.

Conditions: Very good. A fresh inch of new snow with more coming down.
Very enjoyable skiing. Some debris in places but fresh powder to keep the glide alive.

Conditions: Tracked and groomed with a light dusting of wind-blown powder.
Beautiful day after the deep freeze of last 3 weeks. Skied all loops and return and got out just before dark.

Conditions: Excellent and a nice fast track.
Spent another Friday at my favorite place to ski and even bought a season pass this time around as I will be back. Great skiing and still superb scenery with the snow hanging off the trees.

Conditions: Excellent. Groomed today. Deep base.
Great fun at the Watersmeet/Sylvania trails today. First time visiting these neat classic-only trails. Narrow old-school trails with fun luge run terrain. Single track and some double track. Fresh grooming and deep base so no problem using A skis.

Conditions: Supreme grooming going on today.
Bob was able to groom and track most of the system despite the heavy wet snow. Excellent medium-fast track and not a stick or leaf on any of it. I keep saying this is the Field of Dreams for cross-country skiing and I still do. And fabulous scenery, too.
