Tracks were cleaned out this morning which helped clean up some of the debris from the wind over the weekend. Some oak leaves still hanging around but overall tracks look good.

Another fantastic day on the Barkhausen trails. Tracks are in great shape, and the grooming is the best it has been this far this season. There is a bit of debris in the tracks (leaves and the occasional small stick) which is the reason for B skis, but track depth is generally deep and they are consistently fast. The firmer snow allows for more pole push in most areas, barely punching through in deeper snow areas. All told, well worth the visit today!

Reset tracks this morning. Some pesky oak leaves still hanging around, most of them were cleaned up. Tracks turned out good. Enjoy!

A beautiful day out on the nicely groomed Barkhausen trails. Double tracked throughout, and mostly full depth except for a few short stretches along open fields and Lineville Rd. Would have been good skis except for a few unavoidable small pieces of debris. Otherwise, most of the trail was in great shape (we did all the trails), and really not busy. A great day in the woods to escape the biting wind!
