Ungroomed trail consisting of solid base with soft uneven skate deck. Most tracks still intact. Holding up well under warm temps. Still on average 4" of base. Lots of leave debris and some twigs on part of trail. Plenty of snow to groom yet.

Molly the groomer laid fresh corduroy for a fast silky smooth skate ski. Classic tracks looked good, too. I skated all the loops (concentrically) in just over an hour. Conditions were simply the best!

Pretty good conditions out there. Some sections of the trail were blown over with snow and a little deep and slow.

Windblown trail with many striding tracks filled in, though the groomer was actively working on the trail when I left at noon. Hopefully a fresh touch up will make it go from fair to great.

Some tracks were deep and firm, others were skied and/or drifted over. But still a pretty good ski. I didn't envy the skate skiers out there, it looked pretty slow.

Some tracks blown over but generally in excellent condition on all parts of the course. Skate deck looked awesome but the skaters I saw appeared to have a little trouble getting their glide going, probably because of the cold.

After all the snow we got I was excited to go out and ski on a course I thought would be groomed and tracked. Well it was groomed but if they did track it was awful. The tracks were too close to the edge so when I planted my pole it wouldn't grab just sink into the snow. The skate deck wasn't wide enough in many areas but it was groomed. The skaters seemed to be going slower than usual so maybe the skate area wasn't very good either. All in all it was still nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors on my skis.
