No grooming and hikers have walked on the skier tracks, but it was still fun skiing under bright blue skies! Good snow coverage over most of the trails, with just a few bare spots and exposed rocks on steeper slopes facing the sun. Hard crust on some slopes facing the sun. Otherwise mostly soft snow or boot tracks.

Thanks to Three Rivers groomers for getting out to Murphy. Snow is very soft which made for silky smooth downhills and limited glide on the uphills. Definitely rocks skis with the limited snow and rocky trails. Other natural trails are in better condition, but if you're looking for solitude on a wooded trail, this is what rock skis are for. I had a great time, just me and the deer.
