Notes

Trails are on the golf course. Some nice hills but most of the course is pretty exposed. There is one back leg that is quite shaded and seems to hold snow long after the rest of the course loses it. Rentals at the chalet.

Como trail is holding up but there are several icy and slushy patches at the bottom of hills and in sunny spots. Other areas are good though and the full 5K loop is still nicely groomed.

Thanks groomer for some great classic tracks still intact. The skate deck looked good too. Some slush at low spots, a couple of groomed detours. No bare spots.

Excellent spring skiing this morning at Como. Fresh pisten bully grooming -- thank you groomers! Suggest B skis due to a few icy spots, but 98% excellent. And decent tracks too.

Set a new classic track and skate deck. Classic track is very thin in spots and good in others. Skate deck is currently in good shape but will have several slushy/icy spots when the temps rise above freezing. Get out and enjoy the end of the ski season before it's gone!

Good skate conditions except at the bottom of hills where there is some slush and ice. Southern loop is in better shape than the northern.

Classic tracks were set, but very icy conditions, and not much kick possible. Downhills were very icy and rutted. Hoping some new snow will help.

20F degrees at Como cross country ski trail and temps are climbing. Trail is very rough in a few spots but most of the trail is very nice. New classic and skate deck. Ski with care.

Conditions at Como were as good as I've ever seen. Plenty of snow and sun, the groomers have done a great job of creating a smooth wide trail around the golf course with a very good and solid skate deck and well-defined rails for classic skiing. No bare spots or ice, really fantastic spring skiing.

-6 degrees start today with over 12 inches of fresh snow at Como cross country ski trail! Very soft conditions today. Both classic and skate deck are fresh. Be mindful of the hills. There is still ice underneath and the skate decks is soft. Enjoy!
