Groomed out the skate lane and reset the classic track on the main 5K and River Trail. Very nice conditions if you can dress right!

Exceptional skating today at SMU. Fresh cord with an 1" of new snow over a firm base. Tracks look great. Doesn't get any better!

The classic track is holding up well. All trails re-groomed for skating this morning. Trail conditions are very good for both classic and skating. Happy skiing!

All trails groomed and open, skating lanes and classic tracks are in excellent condition. Use your good skis without any worries.

All the trails were leveled and new track set late Friday night. Overnight temps should make them firm for all day Saturday. All the downhills on the sledding hill side of the trails also groomed out for those up to the challenge!

With several inches of new wet snow yesterday everything was rolled and left to freeze overnight. Temps did not get as cold as we would have liked. Steve and I groomed the whole system this morning and it looks great but it is soft. Plans are to groom after dark tonight with the idea it will set up overnight. Tracks have been set on all trails including upper hillsides. The tracks are deep, clean, and soft in most places. The trails will ski in as more people are on them.

Bruce and I rolled all of the trails after 7" of wet snow. Now the snow needs to set up and dry out. Skiing today will be soft but the surroundings are beautiful! Grooming plans: Tomorrow morning we'll take the Ginzus out and groom again and set track.

Skate deck was groomed on all trails this morning and are looking good. Debris on the trails in places, twigs, leaves, and walnuts just need to be alert as it is mainly in a handful of areas. The classic tracks have not been touched by the groomers since they were set earlier in the week.

Bruce and I combed the skate lanes this morning and they are very good. I reset the classic track and it turned out mostly very good. B skis because of the areas with twigs, leaves, etc.

All trails groomed for skating this morning. Skating conditions remain quite good. Icy spots are now a little more scuffed up, so slightly less treacherous, but continue to use caution. There is a little classic track remaining, but it is thin and icy. We will just have to wait and see what conditions develop to see what we can do with the classic track over the next few days. Happy skiing!
