Best snow conditions of the year. Trails were groomed and tracked including Sally's Classic. The skate deck is a little soft on the left in places but firm otherwise. Get out and enjoy!

January conditions in March! When I arrived at the Brule ski trail at 11am it was 15 degrees and the groomer was just finishing grooming several inches of fresh powder. I was the first skier on Sally's classic trail and it was one of the best skis of the year for me. I took a loop around the river trail. The Brule is open now making for a scenic ski along the river. The Wisconsin DNR and Brule river ski club have done a great job with grooming and improving these trails over the past few years. They are one of the best trails around.

Skied the trails today and they were freshly groomed. Some of the best skiing I have seen anywhere all year. Also spent an hour on their fat bike trails and those were groomed and great for biking. The ski trails were also tracked and fast.

The main loop is okay for skating. I hear they have been working hard to pack down the trails, but the skating was incredibly soft still. Very slow skating on the "outer trails.".

Trail is groomed for skate but not classic. Sally's classic trail wasn't yet groomed. Beautiful snow! Should be wonderful once the classic tracks are in!

I was in the ruts, but the skate lane looked as fantastic as the tracks. It appeared that there was low traffic in the tracks prior to nighttime hard freezing as the tracks were firm compacted fresh snow with no breakdown. Looks like the DNR groomers worked diligently and take pride in their work. Thank you to the Brule Valley DNR and Ski Club for year long efforts on this wonderful trail system.

Every trail was impeccably groomed. Best conditions I've skied on anywhere all year. Classic tracks looked good. Even the new trails far back were all newly groomed.

All skate decks had been groomed today and about half of the trails had a new classic track set. Excellent condition with very little debris. The snowshoe/fat bike trail was also groomed today.

The groomers did a great job after yesterday's snow. Beautiful skate everywhere and solid classic alongside! Thank you!

Skied a loop today at AH and conditions were very nice. The skate deck had firmed up by the afternoon as the temp dropped a little. There were some tracks from folks earlier that looked like they were probably sinking in a bit. My wife skied classic and the tracks were great.
