Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails have been groomed and tracked and are in excellent condition! We are not able to set track on Classic Trail at this time, due to a part being stolen from our small groomer during the off season. Get out and enjoy!

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomers have been out all week working on the trails. Currently, all trails except White Pine, Little Joe, and the new Nebagamon Creek Trail have been groomed for skating. Conditions remain a little soft after our 20" snowfall, but skiing is good. By the weekend, all trails should be groomed and tracked and in great shape.

Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The skate deck is minimally bumpy and it was soft during the warm part of the day according to others who had skied at that time. No tracks set yet, but still a beautiful ski.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
I skied the entry, balsam and aspen. Wonderful snow. The groomers had made some passes on these trails so there was a deck - no tracks. It was beautiful on the trail - bright blue sky. I saw one skate skier and someone on the snowshoe trail. Skiing should be fantastic this week - too bad I have to head south. Thanks for grooming - and plowing the lot!

Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial ]
Today I snowshoed on the snowshoe trail but got a little off track and walked on the edge some of the ski trails. Most of them were untouched as you will see in this picture. But I was shocked and so happy that the parking lot was plowed because barely any roads even in town in Superior or Duluth aren't plowed yet. Also the groomer had a little bit of grooming done and some people were out. Looked like just a skinny path for one loop for sure. What beautiful times to be in the Brule Forest!
