Skied this morning at Tower Ridge. There was fresh grooming on the whole system including tracks. It was a little soft but should firm up for some excellent weekend skiing. The UWEC ski club is hosting a race scheduled for 10am. The afternoon tomorrow might be less congested.

Classic track set, packed and tracked, last grooming was Friday. Icy patches to soft patches, but overall great conditions and great temp to ski today! Soaked it in with a long one -- today was a good, fast day on the skate deck.

Skied in the afternoon. The skate lane grooming appeared to be a narrow 10' wide, and rather rudimentary, which left much to be desired. I found it difficult to get an edge in some areas.

All the trails got a couple of passes of the groomer today, leaving a skateable deck with a scruffed up thin layer of sugar snow and ball bearings. No new tracks were set: they are all glazed and wicked fast and mostly free of forest debris.

The skate lanes were combed today. They're firm and fast. The classic tracks are icy but skiable. We need some new snow to allow the resetting of tracks.

Hard and icy skating deck throughout the system. Last full grooming was Saturday. Classic tracks are very fast and icy. Very frustrated with the lack of regular quality grooming.

Snow was an interesting combo of icy/fast on more popular trails, and soft/a little slower on less trafficked sections. Skate deck was hard for most of it, soft in Lewes popular spots. You can use good skis if you stick to the lighted loop/more popular trails, but go with B skis if you plan on doing Dipsy Deaux, Big Falls, and even I-loop to an extent. Classic track was also set, shallow in some sections, but very few.

The lighted trails were groomed for skating late this morning. The resulting deck cord was firm with excellent edge control and just a hint a loose snow. The classic tracks are firm and getting glazed, as the temp was about 34 degrees. The rest of the trail system was last groomed on Saturday and the deck is getting hard, but still manageable.

Like yesterday, conditions today were very good. Nice firm skate deck and although the classic tracks were a bit shallow, they were in good shape for the most part. A fast ski, but the snow was very workable. Hardly any leaves or debris on the trail.
