Currently snowing very heavily! It snowed about 4" last night with more expected during the day today. The Pisten Bully went out this morning to groom up some trails. Expect soft and slow conditions today. Grooming plans: The main grooming effort will take place overnight tonight once the snow stops.Winter just keeps coming!

Great conditions, tracks set lots of snow. Teahouse great for refreshment during long ski. Skied Wolf tracks, xc express, Nebco's to name a few. Not a very busy day people wise.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails have now been re-groomed after receiving about 4" of snow a few days ago. Conditions are the best they've been all year and the trails will be much firmer and faster than yesterday now that the snow has set up a bit. All three long trails were freshly groomed this morning! Don't miss out on these excellent March conditions! We've still got about a foot of base on the trails, so I think we'll be skiing for a while yet :).

Great skiing almost all trails groomed after 4" snowfall yesterday, including the longer segments. Deep tracks, pristine conditions. Spring skiing at its finest.

Fantastic weekend at Winter Park. Tracks were excellent on both days with only minor tree debris at the end of River Run. Bit soft in the afternoons but no complaints! Great for skating also and with all the snow they have, skiing should be good there for some time to come. The crowd of children racing on Saturday/Sunday assures us that the future is good for US skiing.

First classic ski after completing the Birkie classic race on Saturday! Couldn't have asked for better conditions with the 7" of fresh snow from Monday and abundant sunshine. Trails were in tip top shape and were firmer than I expected with all that new snow. We will be skiing well into March with the trail base out there now! It's going to be a fantastic year for spring skiing!

A golden day, in so many ways. 4-7 inches, or whatever groomed up spectacularly. Having a US Champ in the women's 10k free motivated a glowing smile all day. Thanks, Jessie. Shaping up to be a Golden Loopy Loppet weekend, also. Make it if you can.

It doesn't get much better than this; blue skies, crisp, not too hard track, the rolling terrain of River Run. Kick and glide at its finest.

Skated around Silver Strider, Nekoosa, Wolf Tracks, Steeplechase, Creek Trail, XC Express. All in excellent shape: firm skate deck with excellent edging, solid tracks, no debris. MWP's the way you'd want it to be.
