After another coating of fresh snow, most trails were packed one pass this morning (no tracks). It's still early season conditions, but conditions are improving. Not groomed yet: Ridge Run, Corkscrew, Express, and Cut Across.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Trails remain ungroomed due to insufficient snow, but classic skiing is fun especially if you follow the skier-set tracks. The snow is dry and powdery with no base underneath. Grab those old waxless skis and enjoy what's there.

Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
About 3" of fresh powder yesterday, the ground was bare before this new snow. Grooming attempts didn't go well as this snow has little moisture. For now we are leaving the trails ungroomed. You can ski in your own track which others can follow, like we did last winter. Conditions are thin with no base under the new snow, use caution.

Morning
Observation
[ Trails: Closed, Rock skis ]
We only have a couple of inches of snow, and not enough to attempt any grooming. Skiers may attempt to ski with rock skis, but we aren't recommending skiing at this time. Trails remain open for hiking. Think Snow!
