Unfortunately, the 50 degree temps and bright sun of today coupled with warm temps last night have caused us to close the trails in order to try and maintain the ability to restore them later. There are many bare spots under the pines. We will do our best to restore the trail after temperatures cool.

Trails were rolled and packed last night with grooming and tracking completed this morning. The work on the base completed earlier this week paid off as there is a solid foundation for the new dense snow to set-up on. Good mid-winter condition.

Trail was rolled and combed on Monday. Track was not set. Based on a test ski today (Thursday), by one of the trail groomers, the skate deck is thin but skiable with rock skis. Average base is between 1 and 3. Approximately 10% 1" base, 60% 2" base and 30% 3" base.
