Great skiing on machine made snow. Fully groomed and tracked this morning. Classic track is a little shallow and dirty in places, but overall very good. The system made it through a week of 40s and 50s in good shape. Happy skiing.

Great skiing on machine made snow today. The groomer got it just right with a light touch last night. Classic track is dirty in spots, but people seemed to be enjoying it.

The manmade snow trails are holding up well, in spite of all the heat and sun. South or West facing portions are very soft, so try to ski early in the day if you can. Classic tracks are getting pretty shallow/dirty, but still there. Everything was groomed in the morning, which was very nice!

Hot conditions made the trails softer and slower. When I came back to coach the high school ski team in the afternoon, conditions had firmed up but also got a little icy.

Machine made loop was groomed overnight and I made the first tracks. Base was soft but in good condition. Recommend getting out their early as possible. Did not ski in the classic tracks but they looked good.

Windy conditions with small amounts of debris on the trail and in the tracks. Still good quality snow after grooming this morning, get out and enjoy!

Machine made snow trail in great condition again. Grooming plans: As of today we have worked out an arrangement for RASC to groom on the days when the City's groomer is off. RASC will only groom with the Ginzu, not the Pisten Bully, it in most cases this should eliminate the "no grooming" surprises . Thank you for your patience.

Close to 20 skiers out when I was! Really really cool to see these trails get used. In tougher shape after the weekend and the high school race on Friday. Didn't get groomed over the weekend, so a pretty firm surface with a lot of slippage if you pushed too hard. Still very skiable though.

Skated at first light this morning on all the snow. The base is holding up well, but given the cooler temps and no new grooming was a bit of a mixture of icy (first stretch at the bottom), and well-worn, but not unpleasant or too difficult. It was hard to get an edge on some of the more heavily shaded areas and a few of the turns, but there wasn't much sugar buildup on the large hill or any other small climbs. All told, happy to have some snow in the Rochester area!

Man-made snow trails are still in good shape, but heavily packed and icy in places after Friday's ski invitational traffic. Seeing that this is the only snow in Rochester, it would be great if the trails could be groomed for the weekends!
