Rock Lake received approximately 3 inches of fresh poof yesterday. Forest Service staff used snowmobiles to pull the groomer with the comb down, making two passes this morning/afternoon. Once compressed, there was about 1 inch of new snow on the base of the trail. Setting tracks was attempted on the 2K and 4K loops, but there was not enough snow. There are some small twigs and leaves on the trail. It was approximately 3F degrees when the trail was groomed. Rock Lake Loop was not groomed.

Packed down the 2k, 4k, and 7k loops with snowmobiles. Everything else was left untouched. There are still some twigs/leaves coming through the snow, would recommend using rock skis.

Rock Lake trails were cleared, gates opened, and the 5 inches of snow packed down with snowmobiles. The base is an inch to two inches. We'll be out again when we get more snow!
