20F, sunny, no wind. Trailhead sections are icy. Trails are open but not recommended for skiing due to icy conditions. We went out to check the trails on the sun exposed areas. Woods are nice for snowshoeing, hiking (with good spikes), birding, and biking (with studded tires). It was a great workout, but bring/use proper gears.

Snow temp at zero at 11 am and sun is coming out. Fun skiing but the melt is devastating. Snow is more of an ice crystal and skiable but classic tracks are disappearing fast. Base seems like ice, so ski while we can.

Fabulous classic ski this morning. Terrific fast tracks. Great grooming, almost everything was opening. Couldn't have asked for better conditions...not to mention the goodies in the lodge.

Great ski with friends today-we were inspired by Caitlin Greggs Birkie finish and appreciated being out on skis and groomed trails and felt like a celebration that we all had the snow we needed. Air temp was 26, snow temp -1, fast fun and tracks solid. Purple wax.

Skating was great this morning. Trail was firm and fast. Got out before it warmed up. Got over to some of the trails on the NW side. Made first tracks on a few. Well laid out trails that give you options. Finished with a nice lunch in the lodge!

Beautiful day to ski-crazy warm after the oast week if negative temps. Trails in am were great but afternoon warmup made for fast conditions in the tracks snd snow was wetter and heavier by 4 pm.

28F, sunny, no wind. A group of us skied the classic trails along the Headwaters of the Ottertail River. The trails/tracks are nicely groomed, good flow for up and down intervals.

20F, sunny, little wind in the woods, one of the best skiing this season! Classic skied the Black Bear and Brush Cat trails! The tracks are in great condition and fast. The nice and warm weather makes a very fun skiing! Look forward to skiing the Rainbow Rendezvous on March 1.

Tracks were firm which made for a great classic ski. Did most of the hilly 10k trail. Always fun to ski these awesome trails!

-4F protected from 5 mph wind in the woods, sunny. Went out late morning for a ski on 3k classic loop and then snowshoe afterwards. The forest is beautiful, and the company is great! It's nice that others have skied in ahead of me.
