Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied the red loop a few times (4.5k with some good hills!) and even though the temperature has been above freezing the snow in the woods at the park was pretty decent, a little soft but not icy, with great coverage. A hidden gem!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Good skis ]
Neshota knoll got steady snow yesterday afternoon in the forest microclimate! No bare spots, beautiful, and a short drive from home. We didn't see anyone else there. Couldn't get enough of it! Skied classic with no wax skins and a little skating too.

Morning
Observation
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Current conditions are 2 inches of base with no classic tracks set. There are some thin spots and light debris throughout the system. Grooming plans: No grooming will occur this morning due to the warm temperatures. We are hopeful for new snow to add to the base and the trails will survive.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Further work was done to compact and level the skate deck this morning. The base at Neshota is soft and currently about 2 inches thick. There are some thin spots and light debris throughout the system. B skis are recommended. Grooming plans: Trails will be groomed again Monday morning. No Classic tracks will be set until we get more snow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trail rolling is complete, and the skate deck has been leveled. Neshota currently has about 2.5-inch base so classic tracks have not been set. Trails are soft with some thin spots in windblown areas and light debris. B skis are recommended. Be sure to purchase your ski pass as rangers will be out checking this weekend. Grooming plans: Trails should be groomed again early Sunday morning.
