The Piston Bully was out at night grooming again. Expect conditions to be soft on the skate deck. The classic track was reset and is in fair condition.

The Piston Bully was out at night grooming the man made snow loops. The skate deck was tilled and is in good condition with no bare spots. The classic track was reset and is in fair condition with some bare spots and icy patches. Expect spring conditions.

Variable conditions on the manmade loops this morning. Some soft and slushy spots, some firmer segments with lots of pine debris, and some really nice, clean stretches, especially the east leg of the Field Loop. Downhills are slow and soft; uphills are easy climbs. Tracks are old and soft. Overall, a nice day to be skiing.

The Piston Bully was out grooming the man made loops. The inch or so of fresh snow was the icing on a perfect skate deck. Expect conditions to be about as good as it gets. The classic tracks were left in and should be perfect once they get skied in a bit. Beattle's loop and the playground were groomed as well and should be in great condition.

The Piston Bully was out grooming the man made loops. The skate deck was tilled and is in great condition. New classic track was set on the normal side and is in great condition as well. The new snow had time to dry out and mixed really well with the icy layer beneath it. We are back to the usual ski direction for the weekend. Grooming plans: Beattle's loop and Mark's park were not groomed but will be done tonight. All in all, the trail should be really good for both skate and classic.

Everything is covered but pretty soft and slow with wet snow. I only skated, classic tracks looked acceptable.

Pretty good for skate and stride on the manmade snow loops. No grooming overnight, but the 3/4-in of sleety snow provides a soft, easy gliding surface for uphills and downhills. Very nice up on the Woods Trail. Windier and icier on the Field Loop. Solid tracks in place from yesterday.

Very good conditions for skate and stride on the manmade snow loops. Very firm base with firm corduroy is providing an effortless gliding surface. Solid, full depth double set of tracks for striding. Bit of debris here and there, but the two bare spots I mentioned yesterday are filled in.

A big switch from when I skied last when temps were in the mid forties. Conditions were certainly fast, but the skate deck after the last grooming had enough looseness that edging was not too bad. Climbing up magic carpet and going down Summer stage did seem to be a good idea.
