Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Put in 28k on the 1.5 k fake snow loop. Surprised how well it held up from all the rain and warm temps. Solid base with soft snow on top. A few thin spots up in the pines. Downhill slightly icy in spots but manageable. Did not venture on real snow trails but saw a few folks out there though. Tracks still holding up for striders. Got real busy when I left around noon.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Very slow conditions for skate. Soft, wet surface layer over a softening base. Some debris, especially in the woods. Tracks are old, but well skied in. Plenty of snow on the manmade loops.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Still good skiing on the manmade loop. Expect it to soften as the day goes on. It's faster first thing in the morning. Did a green loop too, it's skiable but soft. A few more spots where dirt is showing.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Skied from dusk for two hours, tracks still in good shape even on the natural snow, off track gets sluggish. Dare I say it was fast? Regardless, if not rocket fast, faster than my expectations, even on the natural snow (lighted section not including Two Tier which now has dirt).

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I started skiing around 11:45 am and went for about three hours. Manmade loop was very good even though it was a bit soft. I skied the entire lit loop and it was mostly decent, but poles were breaking through which made the flow inefficient. Two tier had a few rough patches, but nice to get the elevation in! Downhill was really good until the bottom. I would not recommend two tier for novice skiers. I gave gut buster a try and it was very soft, but snow covered. Big slide was rather challenging.

Skate deck on the man-made loop was in considerably good shape this morning. I used my good skis, but you just have to skate around a few thin areas. Tracks looked like they're getting pretty worn. The park was buzzing.

Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial ]
Stopped by to check the trails this morning. Manmade loops trailhead has many skiers who looked happy. Not groomed for a couple of days. Slushy surface.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Skied the man-made loops and it was in great condition. A little crust formed overnight that brought the speed back. As of 11am it was softening but still an enjoyable experience. More debris is collecting in a few spots. No grooming is planned until Sunday night but right now it doesn't need it.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
Classic skied the green Meadow loop a few times this afternoon. Tracks were in surprisingly good shape but later in the afternoon, kept getting softer and a bit slick in some thin spots. Minor debris such as small sticks, leaves, and pine needles are on parts of the trail but did not impact skiing today.

Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Well here comes the warm mother nature again, our trails are taking a beating again for about the fourth time this winter. The trails off the man made are becoming pretty thin. The man-made has full depth and full width. There will be no grooming by the DNR or with the Pisten Bully until we get temperatures below 32°. Please be patient with us groomers as we are not controlling the weather. I normally say happy skiing, but now I'm saying good luck out there!
