Notes
This trail system starts and ends at the Vasaloppet Nordic Ski Center, located on the north edge of town. The Nordic Center offers a waxing room, showers, and a sauna and is open throughout the season. 5K of lighted trail. Snowmaking operations.Trail Reports

Observation [ Trails Open: Partial ]

Conditions were good at the First Chance race Saturday. An approximately 1K loop was available for the event. Temps were warm, but snow base/coverage was good. Grooming plans: With colder temps beginning in earnest this week, the Snow Farmers plan to continue making and spreading snow to expand the 1K.

Trails are not currently open, but snowmaking, distribution, and grooming is in process. They project to have an approximately 1K loop ready for the First Chance race Saturday, January 6th.

From the Vasaloppet folks: Due to unseasonably warm weather, there is currently no skiable snow. We will resume snowmaking when temperatures drop below 20 degrees.
