Surprisingly good conditions this morning, and the snow is generally holding up to this warm sunshine. Cold wind helps on that matter. A few semi-bare spots that are easy to spot and go around. Classic tracks on purple and white. Some sections of green/blue have not been groomed but have been well skied in.

Skied the blue/green loop, was ok, base still holding up with the warmer day, a bit icy and slick, more so on the downhills, but it's skateskiable if one really wants to get out there. Gotta get in the Birkie miles!

Halfway decent conditions, thin and hard base a bit slick, skied blue loop, the pine areas in the first couple miles and last couple miles were poor, some grass areas. The cold air has helped preserve the thin base, all in all a decent day skiing.

What a great surprise to show up at Nordic with rock skis on and find out the conditions were super close to good ski conditions if not for a few spots and I'm very cautious. I skied the blue loop minus the pines area which is not groomed and the white/blue, which was groomed but I opted for a orange loop instead. Hats off to the groomers for turning the icy conditions into the best conditions of the year in my opinion.

I skied the Green and some of the blue loop 11 am to 1pm - trails were firm and fully covered. Where the sun was hitting the trail, it was a little slower; otherwise, great skiing in 40 degree weather!

A variety of conditions exist on the blue loop. Skied starting at 11:00 AM, shaded areas had good glide but exposed sections were very soft. Debris encounters require a certain mind set, as one must pick the least unpleasant route around numerous pine cones and needles. Back of the blue had some quasi pristine sections (see photos), but in general 50 - 60% of the tracks are dirty. Bare ground is a problem in the final stretch. Freezing temperatures could make the downhills treacherous, as they are badly rutted.

Skied almost all trails. Good conditions in general, but a fair amount of debris on flat parts, especially early in the blue loop. Would advise B skis to those who have them; I only have one pair, and don't regret skiing with it.

I skied the blue, red, orange, green and brown trails at Nordic. I found the conditions to be excellent given the lack of snow in the area. Full trail was groomed yesterday. The end of the blue loop in the pines had a lot of debris, proceed with caution. I'd skip that whole part and wouldn't ski white at all. Also, was advised if skiing blue skip the first left. Otherwise fantastic day of skiing with a lot of friendly faces!

Skated all trails. The groomer was working mid/late morning through early afternoon. Everything was groomed except the hilly portion of the blue loop (although this could have been groomed after I went through). Skate deck was very good, a smidge soft since just groomed. I would say for 95% of the trails you could use your good skis. There are a few sections in the pines (first loop of blue and parts of the white) that were thin, hence the B ski rating. Beautiful day out on the trails, and the most amazing part was I did not see one foot print! Thanks to the groomers for all their efforts! As always Nordic is well worth the trip!
