Skied Yellow and pink trails in the rear of the park but had to walk out due to an equipment issue. Still no track set or grooming on trails. Several down branches on trails, deep snow. More suitable for snowshoeing right now than skiing.

Lots of beautiful snow but nothing groomed. Husband broke ski binding. Backcountry cross country skiing style.

I skied the loop closest to the Sunset Drive entrance at 7PM. Apparently the staff has had their hands full clearing the roads and parking areas as there has been no rolling or grooming of the trails. A few brave skiers did some trail breaking before me. There had been hikers and snow shoers also. If you love backcountry trail breaking in snow that averages about 12" in depth, you will be in your glory. If you are a pampered strider like me that loves packed snow and machine tracks, better wait till the groomers post that the trails are ready. There are a number of trees down and parts of trees requiring special detours.

Good conditions about 6" of wet snow but no tracks, but very skiable except for the wooded downhill trail to the base of the sledding hill on the west side. The groomers rolled the entire yellow trail. Looking forward to a little more snow.
