Beautifully groomed course. The snow was a bed of glittering diamonds, as the sunlight reflected from the ice crystals throughout. Consequentially, after two laps around the longest loop, I may have to rewax my skating skis immediately.

Thanks to the groomers and the snow gods for the awesome conditions at Hiawatha this monring! A little slow as expected with the temps and new snow, but absolutely perfect coverage and solid classic tracks.

Hiawatha is rolled, soft and wavy in a few sections. The multi-use trail is also rolled. We plan to groom the ski and multi-use trails tonight and set a classic track. Enjoy!

Very hard packed base. The groomer teeth cleaned up the surface, but the snow was so hard I could barely leave corduroy behind. The classic tracks were in really good condition when I skied them this afternoon, so I left most of them as-is and set a second classic track next to it. In places that new classic track wasn't able to press into the snow.

Great time at Hiawatha golf course today! Lots of people - lots of dogs - lively skate deck. Classic tracks looked great too!

1k, 2k, and 4k loops all groomed and a fresh classic track. Skate deck is firm and skiing very well. The Multi-Use trail is also freshly groomed with a classic track. Reminder: All dogs must use the multi-use trail, no matter what activity they are doing (walking, skijoring, etc). Please keep all dogs off the main skate deck and classic tracks.

Hiawatha is in great shape! There are a few spots in the skate deck where the refreeze is apparent but nothing that is an issue. Thank you groomers!
