No classic tracks but folks have "evoed" a trail where there is no grooming. Skating was fabulous on the groomed trails, Hastings, Fern Dell and Turtleville with some short sections seemingly perfect and debris, soft spots and a few bumps in other sections, Perhaps skiers have forgotten about how lovely Mirror Lake is, as the parking lot was nearly empty and ranger said traffic was intermittent.

More than adequate snow, but skiing was a chore as the trails hadn't been fully groomed yet. Only the RH side had been rolled once, though they were continuing to groom. Very soft base due to the fluffiness of the recent snow. Some sticks on the trail, but not bad. The ranger said they don't expect to set tracks as there is not enough of a base to do that. Beautiful day to get out into the woods though!
