Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Most loops have been groomed, but due to equipment malfunctions, we did not groom T-V, the NE loops or the Cascade Connector still. Grooming plans: We hope to be back Thursday and Friday to finish up.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
All loops at Bally Creek have been groomed, including the NE loops. But the Cascade connector has still not been groomed. Most loops are clear of brush, but there are a few parts of the trail that have some brush sticking out. B skis are recommended it you plan on going off the main portion of the trail. The NE loops are getting better every time we groom. We rolled the Cascade connector for the first time this week as well, so stay tuned for updates.

The entire trail system was in great shape. There's some brush sticking up through the trails. Everything was groomed Wednesday. They even rolled the connector down to Pike Lake Rd!

Skied all the trails and loop on Sunday. Trails were skier groomed through 4-6 inches of fresh snow since last grooming. Underlying deck was good and firm, kicking on blue wax excellent. No pole plant plunging. Great day.

Wildly beautiful today at Bally Creek with the light new snow and freshly groomed trails - thank you trail groomers! If you are a beginner, or a cautious skier like myself, this is a great place to ski. There are many trails with only gentle elevation, and the signage makes it easy to navigate the trail system. Note: As I was leaving, two snowmobilers headed down the road towards the groomed trails.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
All loops at Bally Creek have been groomed, except for the Cascade connector trail. The NE loops have been groomed for the second time this season and are shaping up. The last snow on Tuesday night made for some beautiful tracks, and really helped filling in the trail. Most loops are clear of brush and rocks. Some spots still contain brush sticking out but is getting few and far between. Your most precious skis are still not recommended on all loops.

Skied most of the system today including the more remote ones north of Bally Creek. Coverage is ok, stubble made me glad I was using B skies. Deck was firm as were the classic tracks. An undulating trail from low snow made some portions of the trail slow going but grooming was good although it was a few days old and new snow has drifted in the tracks somewhat. Skier traffic has packed it down. Nice old style single track system and the new signs at trail junctions are a huge improvement.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
All loops at Bally Creek have been groomed, except for the Cascade connector trail. This also includes the Northeast loops that have not been groomed in many years. Most loops are clear of brush and rocks. Some spots still contain brush sticking out and some surprise rocks. Your most precious skis are not recommended. If you are looking for a rugged experience, check out the Northeast loops. They are finally opening and tracked in most spots.

We lightly re-tracked the "Sundling Loop" or from A-F-H-I-J-K-B as well as the first interior loop A-D-O-N-A. The road portions of the trail are the most pleasant to ski, but the hard snowpack has been hard for our equipment considering the rain and subsequent sub-zero temps around the holidays. On what we groomed, there were no trees down but some debris in the tracks from recent heavy winds. We have a nice base to deal with, just need some more, softer snow to sculpt and to be able to open some more trails up. Sand is available for the icy parking lot hill, but please use sparingly.

Tracks were well set, the trail was beautiful; get out and ski! A few spots of shrubbery but overall great conditions.
