Nice to ski here at least once per season. I'm not quite sure if the trails are one way. Some signage has arrows, others not. Hilly enough to get in a hard workout. Firm and quick skate surface. One section near lake Tomahawk had pretty thin cover due to the strong wind. I enjoyed skiing on Schlecht lake. Thanks groomer.

Another 2 inches of snow packed down. Surface is getting better. Solid level surface is getting better. Lake I loop was groomed also. 18" of solid ice makes great level surface to train and work on technique. Good solid track is set. Still few spots thin on snow. Lights on till 8pm.

I skied the outer perimeter loop, then the loop around Schlecht Lake, and finally the loop on Schlecht Lake. Overall conditions I would rate as fair. There are a few spots where snow cover is thin but they are easy to navigate around. The temperature was around minus seven but there was no wind.

Three inches of powder, packed down. Some areas hit by the sun are bad, but for early season not much to complain about.
