Fun day at Pincushion! We classic skied the easy loops first but our skins were not kicking well, so we switched to skate. About an inch of fresh powder from last nights snow, plus a new dusting while we skied made it slow, but still very fun. Skied the snowman loops and Pincushion loop. I think conditions should still be good on Sunday. Great way for us to end our ski season.

Surface Conditions: Very good on the limited trails that have been groomed (Greens plus Pincushion Loop). Well packed base with minimal bare spots, running water and debris. Tracks well set and solid, skate deck firm with some undulations. Comments: We got only 1" from last night's storm, so trails remain in good shape. Set classic track on Pincushion Loop. Skate skiing will be best earlier in the day before the deck gets soft. Hope you have a chance to enjoy this brief season-end bonus.

Great to get in some Spring skiing. Skate skied Snowman, B&B and West Overlook Trails and the Pincushion Loop. These trails were groomed although some were fairly bumpy/lumpy and getting soft after noon. The advanced trails were not groomed; Pincushion Loop didn't set tracks for classic. Beautiful sunny day!

The Pincushion Loop skate deck was nice and snowman tracks were in great shape. On Thursday the snow felt softer and less crusty than when I skied Wednesday after the Tuesday rain.

Comments: Enjoy this late season blessing while it lasts! West Overlook and Snowman Loops reset, B&B Loop groomed for classic, Pincushion Loop skate deck only (no track), North Advanced rolled but ungroomed (Swanson Hill and Devils Track Ski Shop return closed). Significant undulations on Pincushion Loop. Track not set due to mechanical issue. Track not lifted on Snowman descent due to mechanical issue. Ski with caution.

Trail base 3-5", surface Conditions were very good. Morning grooming of West Overlook, East Overlook and Snowman Loops. Packed powder base with minimal bare spots, running water and debris. Tracks well set and solid skate deck firm with some undulations and ruts. Ski with caution. The rest of the system is ungroomed. Undulations especially treacherous on East Overlook from heavy drifting.

Received about 1/4 inch of fresh snow over the rained on trails and they're actually pretty good, not too shabby. I skied on my A- skis and even over a few tree roots. Only a few bad bare spots mostly whenever the trail curves to left or right. A few slushy areas to ski through and the tracks are still good in most sections too.

North Advanced, Canyon Curves, and West Overlook were in pretty good shape, including the bridges, with just some mashed potato snow and occasional bare spots. East Overlook had a lot of exposed bedrock to dodge, though.

Surface Conditions: Variable with minimal bare spots and debris. Some undulations and icy spots are developing. Last grooming day Tuesday, January 30th. East Overlook, B and B, Pincushion Loop, North Advanced, Morris Maze, Hilfiker and Canyon Curves groomed for skating and classic this morning. Skate deck is well packed but narrow in some areas. Tracks are solid. Freeze/thaw conditions will occur this week so ski with caution.

Skied east and west overlook trails (and another off the west I can't recall) Sunday afternoon. Trails seemed to have plenty of snow. East overlook had some paw prints and another connector trail was not groomed. Loved getting out in the beautiful weather and sunshine.
