Great ski at Pincushion this afternoon! The tracks and the skate deck had a little fresh snow on top. It's always a fun ski at the Pin especially the Ole Loop with all its fantastic hills and nice scenery. It was also felt good to be on real snow!

A fresh half inch to an inch of fluff overnight and rapidly warming temps have softened everything up considerably. Classic tracks were holding up but skate deck was getting soft. Deck was especially soft on Canyon Curves and Hilfiker loops (see photo). Snowman deck was still very firm. Skiing was excellent.

Classic skied Snowman Loops and West Overlook at sunset after helping complete full system grooming in the morning. Conditions were superb. The recent snow groomed up beautifully with well set tracks and gorgeous corduroy on a firm, fast skate deck. The snow at the upper elevations is especially tasty. Enjoy!

When I arrived at onion river trailhead the groomer was finishing putting tracks down. I encountered him a number of times later going west towards the picnic loop. Tracks were perfect albeit a bit soft in places. It was wonderful to see this groomer who obviously took great pride in his work, and it showed. A perfect day: around 15 degrees, bright sun, new snow, and the joy of caulking in hard wax, rather than putting on klister, which I've been doing all winter.

My fiancée and I are visiting from Chicago and classic skied East Overlook, West Overlook, Lower Snowman, Upper Snowman, and B&B Loop. Pretty much all the track was in great condition. Thanks to the staff that groom so out-of-towners like us can enjoy some excellent trails!

Perfect! New snow, freshly groomed in the morning, mid 20s, little wind. Awesome grooming. Very enjoyable and challenging skiing at Pincushion. Trail system laid out very nicely in a flowing manner.

My wife and I skied the pincushion trails the last two days. Awesome! Thank you to the groomer! The track was pretty firm for fresh snow. The pistol bully does the job right. Thank you to the fresh snow. So worth the drive!
