Classic skied the Bear Cub, Ox Cart, Beaver Dam, Ridge Run, and Summer Home trails this afternoon. Beautiful trials, snow covered trees, great coverage, just a little stubble yet to be covered. Classic tracks were well formed with nice dusting of new snow on top. Skate deck looked a little soft with new snow but coverage was good. Wish I had started earlier in the day and done more.

We groomed the Lit Loop, Summer Home, Campground, Upper and Lower Beaver Dam, Ridge Run, and Ox Cart trails today after receiving around 6" of snow. Most of the trails are very good, with some sections having short stubble sticking through. Summer Home and Campground are in perfect shape. We will try to groom Bearcub today or tomorrow.

We groomed The Lit Loop, Summer Home, Campground, and Lower Beaver Dam after a few inches of new snow. All are in good shape, and you can use your best skis on Summer Home and Campground. The forecast is calling for more snow tonight, and hopefully that will allow us to get a few more trails open.

We groomed Summer Home, Campground, and the Lit Loop. Trails are in good shape, with a few icy spots where the wind has blown most of our new snow off the trail. Skate lanes are 95% good, tracks maybe 60% with the rest a bit shallow.

We groomed Summer Home and Campground with the PB today. The skate lane looks good, as well as about 70% of the track. It looks like we have some snow and cold weather in our future.

Great Thanksgiving Day 10 K at Bearskin Lodge! Fourth time out - all have been excellent or very good! Skate deck very good a few pine needles, etc, here and there, not enough to slow you down at all. The snow was fast! We jumped in the classic track a little, the track was very good and fast. Another beautiful afternoon among magnificent tall pines! We have much to be thankful for here!

Classic skied the Summer Home Road and Campground Loop (8 km) from Bearskin Lodge. Classic tracks are firm and the light dusting of snow last night made for great kick and glide. Skaters had a firm flat surface and skiers said the conditions were great. There is no snow in the forecast and the temps are forecast to remain well below freezing which means these conditions could be pretty consistent for the near future.

Conditions = very very good! 1/2" Of new light snow on top of a very good base. From Bearskin lodge skied summer home road and campground loops. Great snow everywhere we skied! For November 11th the skiing was great! The open trails were nicely groomed for both skate and classic. The classic track was very good too!

Great first ski of the year in the beautiful north woods. 10 K of groomed trail. Full coverage with no exposed or ice spots, but some blown debris. The skiing was relatively fast with slow sections of blown snow. I realized about 1 k in that I need to do more arm work before the ski season starts. 10 hrs of driving for 2 hrs of skiing and totally worth it. I can't wait for more!
