Observation Scheduling
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Due to the warm weather the trail is icy with several bare areas. Until there is more snow, I do not recommend skiing on the trail. Being on Langlade County land, the trail is always open, but with the forecast we do not plan on grooming any more this season. The snowshoe trail is still open to hiking or snowshoeing.

Some icy spots but skate deck was in pretty good shape for spring skiing. Skied down the Luge which was in good shape and up the Muskellunge which had more sun exposure.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail was groomed yesterday during the snowstorm with about 7 inches of snow and today the trail was dragged and tracked. The trail is firm and in very good condition for skate and classical skiing. There is one wet area that can be skied around on the inner loop between the Expressway (Junction E) and Junction F.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The trail was covered by a light snow this morning and is spring skiing conditions. Tracks are still good with about a 3 inch base. Yesterday while skate skiing the trail, found some areas on the Muskellunge Loop where the grass was starting to come through and the bottom of the Expressway but could ski around. Also a few rocks are being exposed on the Luge Loop. Skiing is firm and fast in the morning and soft and slower in the afternoon. If you are sinking into the base, suggest stop skiing to preserve the trail for others the next day.

Great conditions this morning! I loved the light grooming and light snow on top - made for some fun skating with nice glide and control. Great little course!

The trail is in very good condition for skate skiing with a firm base. The tracks also look firm and very good. With a new dusting of snow, it is beautiful in the woods.

The ski trail was dragged and tracked and is in very good to excellent condition after receiving 5 inches of fluffy snow.. Skating deck is soft due to the consistency of the snow, but tracks are firm.
