Trail Reports

2023-2024 season
Reports 1 to 3 of 3    Month: Jan
Sunday, January 28, 2024
Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All the trails I skied were adequately covered with snow. Track conditions varied from fair to very good. Trails closet to the parking lot were less defined but adequate, and then quickly improved. The snow was fast, but did not suffer any melting. The trails are magically framed within tall pines, and in this year of no snow I felt like I had found the promise land.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Really nice skiing today. There was up to a quarter inch of fresh snow so I broke trail on all of the outer loops. My poles rarely touched bottom. Hardly any debris on the trails.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
After 10 inches of powdery snow fell over the last week, the trails were all groomed with track set. Some areas under the majestic pines have less snow. The lighted loop is lighted from 5pm until 11 pm daily.
