Adam groomed a few of the ski trails after getting about a foot of snow on Monday. I skied about 5km today. Skins worked well. Some thin spots and wet spots but all were easy to avoid. Not great conditions but it sure was fun to be on skis again! Conditions should be OK for a while.

Adam packed/groomed all 17km of trails on Sunday afternoon, with the Pisten Bully 100, so I was out there, striding, today. Not enough snow depth to set tracks, but the corduroy is almost perfect! Some leaf debris and a few stones to avoid, hence the B ski rating. The marsh crossing on Gaiter is grassy and bumpy; I walked my skis about 30 yards there. I didn't get on Rollercoaster or Skidder and Jammer (trails with big hills) so I can't make a report on them.

The Hinderbinder race course, a 2.7km lap on James Lake plus a moderate climb and descent of the ski hill (artificial snow on the hill), has been rolled. It was excellent skiing this afternoon! Grooming plans: No tracks set yet but we plan to set a track for the race.
