Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All loops (17km) were groomed on Thursday afternoon; I skied much of it this morning. Skate deck and tracks were excellent. The snow has a lot of moisture in it, which made for a very solid tracks, very fast yet okay for control. Very few skiers out here today; kinda too bad since it is so perfect! It's looking like outstanding conditions for the Hinderbinder race on January 14!

This is a real gem! Tracks were deep and firm. Skate deck was firm and level with good control. Good corduroy.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic

Overall, conditions were excellent. Even the "bad" sections were very good. There were no bare spots, just a few places with cones, needles and small twigs, but nothing to damage a ski.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trails were quite icy this morning, but then Adam re-groomed with the PB100 (all loops except Gaiter and the Connector trails) and it was excellent; still fast but safe and very skiable. I think he will be grooming again tomorrow morning.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All of the loops (17km) were groomed today with PB100: its looking excellent. I finally got out to ski as it was getting dark. I didn't want to try to get the wax (klister) right, so I skated. It was super fast but safe enough. I am mostly a classic skier so I spent much of the time in the solid, fast tracks.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
I skied about 5km, just after Adam groomed a couple of loops. Where it was just groomed it was excellent! Other trails were good but had quite a few sticks on the snow. With Rollercoaster now done, that makes nine trails groomed and just Skidder and Jammer not open.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
After more work on clearing trails, about half of the 17km are looking good. Little James Lake and Corker are tracked; Glider, Kicker, Klister, Gaiter, and the Connector trails are PB100 packed/groomed but no tracks set yet. Grooming plans: All of the above trails will be groomed again, probably Friday afternoon.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Two loops (Corker and Little James Lake), about 2.5 km, are groomed, with tracks and nice corduroy. Two additional trails (Glider and Klister, about 2km) are also groomed but not tracked yet. We're still working on clearing the other trails.

Morning
Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial ]
I was working on snowshoe trails and noticed that the Pisten Bully 100 had been out early this morning. Adam packed/groomed (no tracks yet) Little James and Corker. It looks beautiful but I only saw bits and pieces of those two trails; there could be sticks and branches buried just under the packed snow. That's about 2.5km of trail.
