Packed and set track on amen lake trails and south suomi. More snow than I thought, so unhooked the groomer and packed first.

Groomed amen lake trail and south Suomi. About 6 inches of fresh snow. Did it in one pass, but the drifts along long lake by the bridge, got me stuck. Better to go south along long lake so you're going up the hill at the end rather than down. Pretty rough in that area.

Only an inch or snow in tracks when we started from south Suomi, took a shortcut to Amen. Perfect for skiing the wicked black diamond hills. Solid track with good snowplowing snow on the side. Thrilling hills that are normally terrifying! Several others out skiing in the tracks.

Groomed Amen and south Suomi this morning. Was able to do it in one pass, rather than packing first. Track looked good, but probably soft until it sets up tonight, so be gentle.

Similar to Suomi Hills - very good coverage, but hard packed and very fast. Fresh grooming or more snow needed.

Beautiful trail system! There was maybe an inch of new snow over nicely groomed tacks—fast and fun! Hope to ski here again soon!

Still some face whackers out there, so be ready to duck and weave, and wear glasses.

Packed part of Amen across the middle and down to Long lake, over to south Soumi.
Parking lot not plowed. Back later finish. Snowshoeing would help on the unpacked areas.
