The Carleton College Arboretum trails are open to the public for skiing. The Upper Arb (6.3 km) is groomed for skating and classic and the Lower Arb (12.3 km) is groomed for classic only.

Firsthand: Freestyle 
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
The upper arb seems to have enjoyed some good usage and some foot traffic since the last snow. There was full coverage over most of the trail, but there are places where gravel is poking through that you might not see. Fun skiing but I took a few minor scratches. I can't imagine it will last, so enjoy it while you can.
