20 inches off-trail snow depth with 8 inch trail base. Tracks have been set but are shallow. Regardless the ski stays in the track pretty well. Grooming plans: Plan to set deeper track this weekend. Be sure to check out our revised trail map as segments and the trailhead location have changed due to bridges being out of commission due to the mega-storm event.

8 to 10-inch base, with an inch of fresh fluffy snowflakes that came down today. Trails are packed and tracked however due to mechanical issues, the grooves in the tracks are not as deep as they should be. We are working to adjust the actuator so the groves are set deeper. This is a small issue as it relates to how enjoyable it is to be out on these stunning wilderness trails.

I skied from the new Jensen trail trailhead. Conditions were pretty good, I used my B skis and did not hit anything. I would not recommend using your best skis. Trails were not groomed but someone had skied before me and left a nice track.

10 inches of new snow in open areas, 6 to 8 inches in the forest. No trails are packed or tracked, but people have been skiing on them making them easy to use. Areas that are in wetlands may experience slight sections of open water.

4-5" of unpacked and ungroomed light snow cover the trails. Looks like enough to ski without too much nicking of your rock skis. Note: New trailhead at Jensen and Hwy 1 (see locator map). (Flathorn trailhead closed indefinitely due to last summer's major rain event that washed away 3 of our 4 critical bridges.).
