The uphills were a little bit mashed and just a tad of ice on the inner corners of the downhills. Corners in the unlit section are in better shape. Overall not bad for having rained a few days ago.

Great conditions, considering all of the rain. Only a couple of avoidable dirt patches. The snow was soft and the hills were starting to get chopped up because of use but no risk to your good skis. Very skiable, and with weather like we have had - you take what you can get!

Skied lower Nordic Center green and blue runs. Open runs were in surprisingly good shape given the rain and warm weather the two days earlier. Snow were hard packed and crusty at 11 am and softened in the afternoon with both conditions providing good skiing conditions. Super glad to have braved the conditions and believing the reports from the prior day.

The rain last night has mostly drained away. It just left the surface snow a little slushy, and my boots were pretty soaked by the time I finished. There are some dirty spots here and there, nothing you can't avoid, so good skis are fine, here. There was a track set around the whole loop, it looked fine, too. 2.2K of ski trails are open. Keep on Striving, Keep on Skiing.

Snowmaking is complete and daily grooming will continue at the Spirit Mountain Nordic center. The only remaining trail segment at the Nordic Center is the new 800m segment, Lone Wolf. That section and the Nordic Connector will likely need additional snow before we can roll them. If you have not come to check out the new lights, they are beautiful and you should come ski under them!

Immaculate skate conditions this morning at Spirit. Classic track look pristine as well. Still only about 1.5k open on snowmaking but the groomer was out pushing snow/grooming the next section. It looks like it could be open very soon. Thank you Spirit crew for consistently great conditions.

Skied the man-made areas that were open. Unsurprisingly given the freezing rain/sleet we had overnight and into today, the corduroy was icy and hard when I went out this evening. Areas where this had been churned up by others were much more pleasant. No problem areas, just be ready for your skis to clatter and skid when you go off the well traveled line, Very few people out enjoying the trails. The loop is approximately 1.5km, but it looks like they've got plenty of snow higher up the trail.

~18F sunny calm-ish. Excellent conditions! For machine made snow the conditions are terrific formatting. All the corners are skiable. The groomed trail hasn't progressed since last weekend so the carnage corner is the furthest you can go. The tracks are super shallow, almost not even there. Hoping more tracks can be set soon!

Temp ~ 5F. Clear skies, windy. The tracks were variable, from shallow to deep and solid to covered over from the snow guns. Carnage corner and the other downhill corners were in really good shape after a heavy use weekend. The groomers did a good job. Just too bad the tracks were so shallow in places.
