Grooming [ Trails Open: Partial, ]
|
We received about 2" of very light fluffy snow yesterday and I was able to flat groom some trails today. Prior to the recent snow, we still had an icy base in spots, but also had large stretches of bare ground. Where there was existing base there is now a skiable trail, but expect rock ski conditions. Elsewhere the coverage is generally spotty or too thin to ski. Sugarbush is the only trail that I would recommend skiing at the moment; coverage is pretty good until the downhill east of map point 22. Recommend avoiding other trails until we get more snow. Grooming plans: we most likely will not groom again until after the holidays, but as always will post a report if we are able to groom.

We currently have about 3" of snow. All ski trails were packed with our snowmobile to set a base, but we don't have enough snow to groom or set tracks. Would not recommend skiing at the moment, but some trail segments now have enough snow to be skiable (just barely) if one can avoid the rocks, roots and thin spots.
