Trails are officially closed but plenty of people out skiing today. Conditions were decent on the fairways and there were some informal classic tracks, but the sun was starting to melt the snow. Creek crossings and cart path sections had some bare spots.

Skate skied the fairways after dark under the moonlight and was surprised at the conditions. Maybe 1.5 inches of snow, some crust, and probably more 'just ok' than 'decent' conditions, but I got a good workout skating around and with a fairly good glide. What it lacked in ideal conditions, it made up in a much shorter drive than Lapham or Parkside. There were many other tracks out there, so it looks like classical could be done, too.
