Trail Detail
Notes
A couple of good loops, although it seems to get more wind-blown than other metro trails. New in 2013, 5K snowmaking loop.Trail Reports

Firm, not too moist. Fast. Many skiers, but not too crowded. I could ski fine and get past slower skiers with little additional effort. Good training for those skills. Tracks were pretty much intact except for high-traffic tight turns.

Weaved through the crowds early afternoon. Still just the 1.8k total of Star and Willow open, but it looks like the snow is piled up by Frog Town. Good conditions overall – just a couple spots with dirt and twigs poking through, but good skis should be fine.

We have the same loops of willow and star open. Good news that the snow guns were blowing out on frog pond. No worries about the loop for good skis. As to be expected the classic tracks at Jan's corner were smooshed by 8am.

Skated on very icy, wind blown snow on the 2k man-made loop. Snow, ice more accurately was dirty so B skis recommended. Snow guns silent, though it was about 15F.

Snowmaking loop: Pretty icy. Not horrendous but not that fun. Some fresh snow on surface but in patches. Some frozen corduroy.
