Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
I was at Hyland early this morning. They had groomed the same man-made snow loops as yesterday to give a nice 1 mile loop. Looked like some people had ventured down to the lake. You can definitely use your good skis on the man-made loops.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
I classic skied the man made loops and they were in great condition, not too many people were there so it was possible to work on technique. I also skied the Lake trail which had be rolled but not tracked. There were skied in tracks about half the time, the skaters were sinking in 1 to 2 inches on the flats and 3 to 4 on the hills. Very quiet out there, I had a big grin all the time.

Snow-guns blazing at Hyland today; looks to be enough piled up (along with what fell today) to open Star and Willow right now if they wanted to... shouldn't be long now.
