The snowmaking loop was in excellent condition mid morning on Tuesday. No problem getting bite but no sugar accumulation to slow you down. No snowplow wake even on Boulder. It was 34 degrees at my start and 37 when I checked driving home. Thanks Three Rivers and groomers for providing such great conditions.

It was another great outing at Hyland this morning. I classic skied the snowmaking trails, and they were in really nice shape for both classic and skate.
Thanks to the Hyland groomers for keeping it going this Spring!

Fast conditions and a significant improvement over the hard icy surface present on Friday. A few glazed/icy spots in the tracks and as expected due to the wind, a fair amount of leaf debris in the usual places. Skate deck was generally in great condition as well with isolated bumpy/rutted areas as the refreeze set up with falling temperatures. Thanks to the groomers at Hyland for their continued outstanding work! Get out and enjoy the end of the season while it lasts.

Skied classic at 11am and had a blast on this sunny Sunday! Tracks were icy fast and had decent depth. I was using fish scales with no wax. Groomers doing an excellent job as always.

Skied the manmade trails (through the Frog town loop)—still in great shape! Trail was fast but not icy. Softening a little by about 1pm. Thanks groomers!

Skied north/richardson natural trail: shallow unpleasant for classic. Skate skiers blasted through the trails in jeans, jumpers, and onesies. Afternoon will make trails better for classic. Enjoy the waning days of our season!

I skied Hyland in the late afternoon, and had a fun ski on the snowmaking loops. The classic tracks were in nice shape with hardly any slipping using extra blue wax. There was definitely some wind out there in the open areas, but lots of sunshine made it more enjoyable.

I skied Hyland this morning (before 9am) and the trails were in remarkably good shape. It's a little icy around the lake, but otherwise wonderful for late March. Both classic tracks and skate deck are good shape.

Unsurprisingly, the trails were hard and icy. Leaf debris was also frequent from the wind. Skate deck was in better shape and more forgiving than the tracks, especially for striding uphill. The lake loop was very icy with snow drifts in several places. Honestly felt more like ice sailing on Hoth than skiing today with the wind.

Pretty soggy late in the afternoon. Skate decks were soft through out. Only a handful of skiers were out. Skin skiers were reporting good grip, but slow down hillls. Low lying areas (on natural trails) were showing signs of pooling.
